The platform is dedicated to international films focusing on the lives, stories and artistic expression of people with disabilities. You can find a variety of films, including narratives, documentaries, feature length and short films from around the world.

All films on the site are on a pay-per-view basis (PPV). You can click on a film page and click on “Watch now” in order to watch a film. You will then be asked to register on the site and enter credit card information in order to rent a film. Some films are free of charge. You can watch them by clicking “Watch Now” and the price at checkout will be $0.

Films are available to view for 48 hours from purchase. You must be logged in to watch the films.

All films include captions and audio description. The site has a button that allows you to change the font size, color display and highlights different areas. The site was designed with accessibility in mind. 

Films are available on a laptop, mobile phone, or app from anywhere in the U.S.

Click the “Log In” button on the top right corner of the screen.

After logging in, click on your name on the top right corner of the screen and go to “Settings” > “Past Purchases.”

ReelAbilities highly values and supports filmmakers and their work. We compensate our creators for sharing their films, and therefore ask for a moderate fee to view films.

No, the platform is designed for personal use only. Any public screenings must receive approval from the film’s rights’ owners.
